Francisco Izotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Evis's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, BackAix's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Hurko came free, but Pablo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Gaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pablo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of BackAix booed when Barreto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Gaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Arsenio Hurko notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BackAix's Pablo Gaspard. Pablo Gaspard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Izotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Evis's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Hermengildo Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot. BackAix's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Azubeli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Izotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Gaur in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Gaspard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Evis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Izotz was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st minute Aquilino Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Arsenio Hurko notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of BackAix's Pablo Gaspard. Pablo Gaspard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute, Aquilino Gaur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Gaspard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 45 minutes, Cirilo Evis made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Barreto's Francisco Izotz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Hurko was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Arsenio Hurko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pablo Gaspard, 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Hurko in the 67th minute of play forced BackAix's goalkeeper Pablo Gaspard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Evis in the 68th minute of play forced Barreto's goalkeeper Francisco Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barreto's Francisco Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Azubeli in the 69th minute of play. When Cirilo Evis came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the BackAix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Evis couldn't finish the play. After 74 played minutes Barreto got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Vargas. A hard shot 77 in the game by Aquilino Gaur from a close distance when the talented Pablo Gaspard managed to make a qualified save. BackAix's players were relieved. In the 80th minute, Barreto got a penalty, and Jose Juvenal placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Cirilo Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Izotz having to interfere. Aristides Viviano struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Francisco Izotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BackAix. After having played for 91 minutes, Hermengildo Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BackAix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 minutes, Victorio Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreto and the BackAix players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Barreto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Vargas to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Cirilo Evis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-5. Francisco Izotz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see BackAix lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
