Carlos Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Maximino Libertad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Gaston Abadie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Libertad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

Maximiliano Tallia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Loco in the 51st minute of play. In the 51st match minute, Salto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Tallia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Manuelo in the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Martinez got free with Maximino Libertad in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salto's Carlos Vincent managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jairo Constancio in the 63 minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Salto's Jimeno Venceslas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Libertad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaston Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salto played a much better game than Burzaco FC and deserved their victory. The Burzaco FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
