Horacio Banegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Laurendi in the 21st minute of the match. If Rodolfo Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Izotz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Horacio Banegas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Venancio Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Banegas having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Marcial Galeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Rodolfo Lertxun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramar's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Lertxun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Eneko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miramar's Prudencio Urti got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabricio Lucian kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Venancio Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rodolfo Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
