Esther AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Almironeta the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Evaristo Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adan Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Lorenzo Gaufred ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Rico was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Maximino Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Epifanio Eleazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Rico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Pablo Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Almironeta's Dante Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Vargas in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of La Almironeta booed when Esther AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Rexino didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Vargas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esther AFC's Evaristo Rexino got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Evaristo Rexino off the ground. After 60 played minutes Esther AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Rexino. The supporters of La Almironeta booed when Esther AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Epifanio Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pablo Celino came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Esther AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Celino couldn't finish the play. If Pablo Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Almironeta's Modesto Lope got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Haroldo Oinaz struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Dante Gumaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esther AFC. In the 83rd minute, Epifanio Eleazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Rico was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 88 minutes into the game, Pablo Celino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dante Gumaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Esther AFC's zone, Epifanio Eleazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Rico came out of the goal and Epifanio Eleazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Lorenzo Gaufred ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Rico was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Many of Esther AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Esther AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but La Almironeta were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
