La Lepra Marplatense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Hermon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Omar Aztore might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Urdin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Aztore ran back to his position shaking his head. Patricio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Etor having to interfere. Gaston Nalo's late challenge caught a La Lepra Marplatense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Nalo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Toro Vikingo FC's Gaston Nalo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Baltasar Etor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Hermon in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Toro Vikingo FC's Omar Aztore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Urdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baltasar Etor came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Lepra Marplatense's Patricio Refugio. But to his dismay, Patricio Refugio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 38th match minute, Toro Vikingo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Millan in the 43rd minute of play forced La Lepra Marplatense's goalkeeper Isaias Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Toro Vikingo FC's Isaias Urdin threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Millan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Millan to make the kick off. Omar Aztore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Urdin having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Toro Vikingo FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Etor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Hermon. Erubiel Llorenc's late challenge caught a La Lepra Marplatense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Llorenc helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, one of Toro Vikingo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Toro Vikingo FC. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for La Lepra Marplatense. Alberto Lope stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baltasar Etor. 0-3. 63 minutes into the match, Toro Vikingo FC's Omar Aztore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Urdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Lepra Marplatense's Bernardino Maiorga got a free kick in the 79th minute. Patricio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Etor having to interfere. Baltasar Etor made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Cristobal Hermon sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Toro Vikingo FC's Baltasar Etor got control of the ball when Cristobal Hermon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Refugio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Baltasar Etor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Etor having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Lepra Marplatense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
