The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armando Cerilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Expreso getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Humberto Feo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Lazcano in the 10th minute of play forced Pandora Box's goalkeeper Edgardo Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes, Ramiro Bidun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pandora Box and the Expreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 minutes, Eloy Etxeberri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Expreso and the Pandora Box players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eloy Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Pandora Box booed when Expreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Lazcano in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Eloy Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Expreso's Aureliano Beat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Expreso from getting a goal against them. Pandora Box's Ramiro Bidun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rigoberto Dei in the 38 minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Pandora Box's Armando Cerilo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aureliano Beat. Aureliano Beat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Ferran to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Armando Cerilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Expreso's Aureliano Beat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justo Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Beat having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Expreso's zone, Ramiro Bidun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Beat came out of the goal and Ramiro Bidun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Alberto Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Cerilo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Aureliano Beat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pandora Box. Christian Lazcano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Mitxaut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Cerilo in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Beat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Beat having to interfere. Pandora Box were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Expreso to leave the ground with a draw.
