Palermo's Marco Gonzo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 8 minutes in the game, fortunately Serafin Eneko had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a rather tough play, Mandrake's Remigio Bermund got a free kick in the 16th minute. German Diaz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Damian Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mandrake's Serafin Eneko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Lohitzun in the 20th minute of play. Damian Roldanillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Laurendi in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Silverio Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by German Diaz in the 29th minute really tested Serafin Eneko's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Serafin Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rigoberto Lohitzun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafin Eneko came out and tried to block the shot, but Rigoberto Lohitzun slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. When Tiburcio Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mandrake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Izotz couldn't finish the play. Venancio Laurendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Lohitzun to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Laurendi in the 52nd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Damian Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Roldanillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Laurendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Matias Cristos. Mandrake's Venancio Laurendi got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Mandrake's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelino Thomas in the 64th minute. The corner led Mandrake's Uriel Goren to fire away a dangerous shot which Damian Roldanillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Inocencio Neron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandrake the free kick. Rigoberto Lohitzun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Eneko having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Fabricio Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mandrake and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mandrake getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fabricio Lucian hit a great ball. Serafin Eneko came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Rigoberto Lohitzun. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Lohitzun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Serafin Eneko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Lohitzun in the 90th minute of the match. Rigoberto Lohitzun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Eneko having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Tiburcio Izotz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 99 minutes into the game, Venancio Laurendi lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Damian Roldanillo.
