When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Higinio Leobardo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Serafin Eneko to make any attempt to save it. Amadeo Santio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Serafin Eneko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Rosendo Ekhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Eneko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Chumo went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Serafin Eneko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Leobardo in the 29th minute. Tiburcio Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sixto Martxelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tiburcio Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Mandrake's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Gutxi came free, but Serafin Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mandrake's goalkeeper Serafin Eneko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Laurendi to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Higinio Leobardo put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Serafin Eneko. Sergio Gutxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Deportivo Yo's Higinio Leobardo in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mandrake's goalie prevented a goal. Sergio Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Leobardo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Eneko saved Mandrake from getting behind. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Higinio Leobardo sped through Mandrake's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafin Eneko. If Sergio Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Serafin Eneko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Leobardo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Higinio Leobardo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Serafin Eneko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Yo. Tiburcio Izotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Martxelin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Higinio Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th match minute, Deportivo Yo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Chumo to maneuver through the defense. If Tiburcio Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Yo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mandrake for a fine match.
