Mandrake's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Expreso the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mandrake's Tiburcio Izotz got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Humberto Feo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mandrake's Serafin Eneko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiburcio Izotz in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Beat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Expreso's goalkeeper Aureliano Beat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Expreso's Aureliano Beat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Laurendi in the 45th minute of play.

When Anacleto Paublo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Expreso's protests and gave Anacleto Paublo a yellow card for diving instead. Anacleto Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Serafin Eneko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ferran in the 85th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Expreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mandrake walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
