After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Esteve Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadillal's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Escobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Iratzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Iratzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Eladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Cadillal's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Ostots came free, but Jacobo Calisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Eladio in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Iratzeder saved Tilcarense FC from getting behind. Jacobo Calisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Ostots, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Santiago Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Santiago Florin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Ostots made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Eugenio Ostots who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cadillal's Jacobo Calisto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugenio Ostots's late challenge caught a Cadillal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Ostots helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tilcarense FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eugenio Ostots hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cadillal's zone, Eugenio Ostots stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Calisto came out of the goal and Eugenio Ostots tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Calisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Florin, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cadillal's Jacobo Calisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Ostots in the 69th minute of play. Tilcarense FC's Santiago Florin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tilcarense FC's Guaberto Katia got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Esteve Escobar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose Iratzeder. Esteve Escobar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Esteve Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cadillal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
