After a defensive mix-up in La Almironeta's zone, Cristobal Hermon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Gumaro came out of the goal and Cristobal Hermon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Gumaro having to interfere. Lorenzo Gaufred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Urdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Cristobal Hermon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Gumaro having to make a save. La Lepra Marplatense's Isaias Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Eleazar in the 15th minute of play. La Almironeta's Dante Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Refugio in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, La Lepra Marplatense's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Eleazar came free, but Isaias Urdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Gumaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Lepra Marplatense's goalkeeper Isaias Urdin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, La Lepra Marplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Gaufred notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of La Lepra Marplatense's Isaias Urdin. Isaias Urdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Epifanio Eleazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaias Urdin. La Lepra Marplatense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Eleazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Dante Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Refugio in the 60th minute of the match. Patricio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Gumaro having to interfere. When Patricio Refugio got free in front of the goal in the 68th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dante Gumaro was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Almironeta's Modesto Lope got a free kick in the 69th minute. Cristobal Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dante Gumaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Refugio in the 75th minute of the match. If Epifanio Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Epifanio Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the La Lepra Marplatense defense, Lorenzo Gaufred kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Urdin. The La Lepra Marplatense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Urdin should have stopped the shot. If Patricio Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
