Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adan Vargas started the match with the kick off. Christian Lazcano took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Rico. Maximino Rico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th play minute Pablo Celino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aureliano Beat. 1-1. With an all-out effort, Esther AFC's Aureliano Beat threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adan Vargas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aureliano Beat came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Esther AFC's Adan Vargas. But to his dismay, Adan Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some careless play in the Expreso defense, Pablo Celino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Beat. The Expreso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Beat should have stopped the shot. After 30 minutes, Humberto Feo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Expreso and the Esther AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Humberto Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Ferran took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Rico. Maximino Rico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The supporters of Esther AFC booed when Expreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Feo was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Humberto Feo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Evaristo Rexino held his arms out in dispair when he, after a nice solo performance in the 49th minute, finished the attack by shooting the ball on the wrong side of the right post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Lazcano made a kick off. Christian Lazcano got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Maximino Rico handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Esther AFC's goalkeeper Maximino Rico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Lazcano. Pablo Celino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pablo Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Celino, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Ferran in the 73rd minute of play forced Esther AFC's goalkeeper Maximino Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Expreso's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Vargas came free, but Aureliano Beat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Evaristo Rexino fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esther AFC's protests and gave Evaristo Rexino a yellow card for diving instead. If Pablo Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Beat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Vargas in the 82nd minute of the match. Aureliano Beat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Vargas's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Adan Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aureliano Beat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Pablo Celino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Beat. Expreso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Celino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Esther AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
