In the 7th minute, Blas Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Escobar's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Cresconio came free, but Leon Calisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Goito in the 13th minute of the match. Leon Calisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Blas Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Calisto having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Pablo Kusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SP. ITALIANO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Kusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Calisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Kusko in the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Pablo Kusko made a precise shot to the right of Leon Calisto. Escobar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Escobar defense, Blas Cresconio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Calisto. The Escobar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Calisto should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Cresconio to strike the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Emesto made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Agustin Cordera however managed to control. Jose Goito hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Escobar's Jacinto Porfirio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, SP. ITALIANO's Agustin Cordera tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Escobar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Blas Cresconio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emilio Senen's late challenge caught a Escobar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Senen helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. SP.
