Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciro Lain took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Ciro Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Susana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Lain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Ciro Lain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Pedro Oier struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Adrian Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Susana. After 21 played minutes Susana got a freekick which was hit by Rene Hori. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Lain in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Vermudo saved Deportivo Español from getting behind. Susana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isaias Sabino in the 29th minute. Susana were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Deportivo Español's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isaias Sabino took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Txilar in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Dantel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Susana's Honorio Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Remir in the 41st minute of play. Gaston Richie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Susana's Honorio Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Remir in the 46th minute of play. Adrian Vermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Oier went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
58 minutes into the match, Ciro Lain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Vermudo. Deportivo Español's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Lain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 64th minute Ciro Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Honorio Dantel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Oier, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Laureano Remir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorio Dantel having to make a save. If Laureano Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Susana getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eugenio Inko hit a great ball. Faustino Euloxu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Honorio Dantel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Español. Susana's Pedro Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Susana were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo Español for a fine match.
