Hermengildo Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Bernard in the 7th minute of the match. Gregorio Edur might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermengildo Jerold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Edur ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Racing FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Arnoldo Ilazki hit a great ball. Racing FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Astor Bernard scored to the left of an out of position Hermengildo Jerold, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Gregorio Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claraz's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Edur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Jerold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claraz's Ramiro Goyo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Jerold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Bernard made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Claraz's goalkeeper Anier Baleren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Eguerdi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Dantae in the 57th minute of play forced Claraz's goalkeeper Anier Baleren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Claraz's Anier Baleren got control of the ball when Victor Eguerdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Claraz booed when Racing FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Gregorio Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Claraz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Jerold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Astor Bernard went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute Astor Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Jerold came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Claraz's Arsenio Bladi. But to his dismay, Arsenio Bladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Mundo during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Racing FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Desiderio Mundo hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Racing FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Claraz.
