With a little luck, Quilmes Athletic Club's Edgardo Bernard got control of the ball when Victor Eguerdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Racing FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Reynardo came free, but Hermengildo Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Distiratsu in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Jerold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Racing FC's Arnoldo Ilazki suffered a concussion after 18 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Quilmes Athletic Club's Saul Montrell got a free kick in the 19th minute. Hermengildo Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Tipi in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Victor Eguerdi made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Bernard. Quilmes Athletic Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hermengildo Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Tipi in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Quilmes Athletic Club's Edgardo Bernard got control of the ball when Christian Bizi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Mundo in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Quilmes Athletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Distiratsu. Hermengildo Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Tipi in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Distiratsu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Distiratsu in the 53rd minute of play forced Racing FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Racing FC's Hermengildo Jerold got control of the ball when Sergio Distiratsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Quilmes Athletic Club's Mariano Reynardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Jerold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Quilmes Athletic Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Julian Tipi hit a great ball. Racing FC's Desiderio Mundo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Quilmes Athletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Mariano Reynardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Jerold having to make a save. Edgardo Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Bizi in the 82nd minute of play. Pablo Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hermengildo Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Christian Bizi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Quilmes Athletic Club's Edgardo Bernard. Edgardo Bernard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariano Reynardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Jerold having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Quilmes Athletic Club's Sergio Distiratsu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermengildo Jerold. Hermengildo Jerold yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Quilmes Athletic Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing FC.
