With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Nisio in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Vermudo saved Deportivo Español from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Deportivo Español booed when Tokito Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Nisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Español's Adrian Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Omero in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Octavio Chano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Español and the Tokito Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartolo Txilar hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Tokito Futbol Club's Alejo Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Txilar in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Salvador Nisio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Vermudo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Español's zone, Salvador Nisio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Vermudo came out of the goal and Salvador Nisio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guaberto Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Vermudo having to interfere. If Guaberto Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 91 played minutes Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Euloxu. Guaberto Omero struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Adrian Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tokito Futbol Club. Salvador Nisio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Adrian Vermudo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tokito Futbol Club's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Deportivo Español had won, even though Tokito Futbol Club had held more of the ball.
