In the 7th minute Joaquin Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Celedonio Nesor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lanús FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Huracan the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Lanús FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Nesor to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Dorel Goicea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanús FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ivan Van Lint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Simon Crescencio managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Lanús FC's Dorel Goicea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorel Goicea in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Crescencio saved C.A Huracan from getting behind. With his leg Simon Crescencio managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Lanús FC's Dorel Goicea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Joaquin Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanús FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Txordon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorel Goicea got free with Simon Crescencio in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorel Goicea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Simon Crescencio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36th minute of the match Lanús FC got a corner. C.A Huracan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Flavius Pietreanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lanús FC's corner Emiliano Sagrario fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Simon Crescencio quite easily take care of the ball. Dorel Goicea struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Simon Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanús FC. Silvano Isusko's late challenge caught a C.A Huracan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Isusko helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Lanús FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Isusko.

Simon Crescencio came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Lanús FC's Joaquin Txordon. But to his dismay, Joaquin Txordon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Joaquin Txordon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Crescencio having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, Lanús FC's Dorel Goicea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Crescencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Van Lint made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Victorio Cebrian sent off a good shot on target. In the 64thth minute of the game Dorel Goicea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Huracan's Simon Crescencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simon Crescencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Txordon went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Joaquin Txordon scored 5-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Crescencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 minutes, Joaquin Txordon made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. C.A Huracan's Simon Crescencio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lanús FC's Victor Sandaili was substituted for Joaquin Txordon. Simon Crescencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Goicea, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Lanús FC's Victor Sandaili got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Sandaili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Dorel Goicea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanús FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorel Goicea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Lanús FC's Victor Sandaili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Crescencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simon Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Goicea in the 92nd minute of the match.
