The throw-in from Apolo Eriz in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Xeneize's Eugenio Cordaro. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Xeneize:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Tira Humo:s goal. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Los Tira Humo. Apolo Eriz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victorino Bakar. 0-1. Arnoldo Ignatius struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Guaberto Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeneize. Arnoldo Ignatius's late challenge caught a Los Tira Humo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Ignatius helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Xeneize got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Ignatius. Primitivo Teodor charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Teodor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnoldo Ignatius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Guaberto Frechoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lisandro Cordarius hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Arnoldo Ignatius sped through Los Tira Humo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guaberto Frechoso. A hard shot 37 in the game by Arnoldo Ignatius from a close distance when the talented Guaberto Frechoso managed to make a qualified save. Los Tira Humo's players were relieved. Xeneize's Eugenio Cordaro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Apolo Eriz, made in the 40th minute of the game. Guaberto Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Cordaro in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Xeneize's Zeledon Sedeni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guaberto Frechoso. That made the score 2-1 after 44 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnoldo Ignatius to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Cordaro scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Frechoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Primitivo Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergio Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Bakar having to interfere. Victorino Bakar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Teodor in the 63rd minute. Arnoldo Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Guaberto Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Xeneize fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Victorino Bakar, was totally fooled by Los Tira Humo's Apolo Eriz, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Ignatius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Frechoso was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Celedonio Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arnoldo Ignatius came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Xeneize fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Ignatius couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Frechoso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Ignatius in the 87th minute of play forced Los Tira Humo's goalkeeper Guaberto Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Primitivo Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Quirce hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Tomas Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Xeneize fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Figueroa couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Xeneize players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
