An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Santos in the 48th minute of play forced Los Tira Humo's goalkeeper Guaberto Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blas Santos made a kick off. In the 61st minute, one of Los Tira Humo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Tira Humo. The referee gave Berreta a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ariel Lehoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Tira Humo's Guaberto Frechoso. 1-1. Blas Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Frechoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Blas Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Guaberto Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Blas Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guaberto Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Lauren in the 73rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Quirce during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berreta's Rafael Lauren got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Rafael Lauren in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 82 minutes into the game, Rafael Lauren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Guaberto Frechoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Berreta's Desiderio Mancio got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ovidio Eskuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Rafael Lauren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berreta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Lauren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Santos in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Santos in the 91st minute of play forced Los Tira Humo's goalkeeper Guaberto Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Justino Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Harkaitz's late challenge caught a Los Tira Humo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Harkaitz helped the player get up and apologised. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Los Tira Humo's Ovidio Eskuin in the 99th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Justino Llope was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Berreta through an amazing save. Berreta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
