Spectators: 7184 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jimeno Ospin got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute Ivan Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Figueroa got free with Augusto Selmo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Ivan Arias made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Larra. Chepes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chepes! The referee gave C. A. Sione a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albino Lico, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chepes's Emiliano Larra. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Chepes's Evaristo Figueroa got a free kick in the 29th minute. Emiliano Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Tadeo Manni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Sione's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chepes the free kick. A collision led to C. A. Sione getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tadeo Manni hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, C. A. Sione's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evaristo Figueroa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Justino Naike might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Larra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Naike ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Santo Mazuste made the kick off in the second half. Augusto Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Figueroa in the 51st minute of play. Tadeo Manni hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Chepes's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Mazuste came free, but Emiliano Larra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Ivan Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Sione's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristian Cordara fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chepes's protests and gave Cristian Cordara a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Emiliano Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes C. A. Sione got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Manni. Chepes's Cristian Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Mazuste in the 71st minute of play forced Chepes's goalkeeper Emiliano Larra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Mazuste received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emiliano Larra came out and tried to block the shot, but Santo Mazuste slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute. Santo Mazuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Larra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Baltasar Cordearo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Ivan Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santo Mazuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Larra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Santo Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Sione's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Mazuste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Larra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Chepes's goalkeeper Emiliano Larra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Arias. Emiliano Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C. A. Sione had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
