With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Ignatius in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Martxot saved 4ta Dimension from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in 4ta Dimension's zone, Tomas Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Martxot came out of the goal and Tomas Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Arnoldo Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Aureliano Llope threw the ball into play from the sideline. Xeneize's Tomas Figueroa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filomeno Martxot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to 4ta Dimension getting a freekick after 85 minutes play.
