Yuri Alberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Turi's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Horacio Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aureliano Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, EstaciónMazán's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Frasco came free, but Aureliano Dayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Horacio Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, EstaciónMazán's Roque Mateo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Alberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Horacio Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universidad de la Cocoya's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Phelipe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Dayam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Universidad de la Cocoya's Emanuel Cordara got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Roque Mateo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Dayam having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Horacio Phelipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Dayam was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Frasco to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes EstaciónMazán got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Santio. Remigio Turi struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Yuri Alberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EstaciónMazán. 58 minutes into the match, Remigio Turi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Alberto. Universidad de la Cocoya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Turi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Aureliano Dayam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Frasco went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Horacio Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aureliano Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Turi took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Alberto. Yuri Alberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Universidad de la Cocoya getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fulgencio Merexildo hit a great ball. When EstaciónMazán's Roque Mateo in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Universidad de la Cocoya's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 played minutes Universidad de la Cocoya got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Vachon. Horacio Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Roque Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Alberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
