An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Tabor in the 4th minute of play forced CHAU MZ's goalkeeper Eulalio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Nemesio Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Armando Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Chumo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in CHAU MZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Naranjito. Tiburcio Corderall stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eulalio Roderigo. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Armando Etxekopar took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Reynaldo Chumo to make any attempt to save it. Eulalio Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tabor in the 18th minute of the match. Eulalio Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Palben's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Nemesio Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, CHAU MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Palben came free, but Eulalio Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Naranjito's goalkeeper Reynaldo Chumo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Merexildo. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind CHAU MZ's goalkeeper Eulalio Roderigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Naranjito's Reynaldo Chumo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Etxekopar in the 31st minute of play. Juan Palben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eulalio Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CHAU MZ's zone, Nemesio Tabor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Roderigo came out of the goal and Nemesio Tabor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Palben in the 37th minute of the match. Nemesio Tabor struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Eulalio Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito. 41 minutes into the game, Naranjito's Nemesio Tabor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eulalio Roderigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eulalio Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Tabor's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After the first half Naranjito were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Arnoldo Vincent fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naranjito's protests and gave Arnoldo Vincent a yellow card for diving instead. Arnoldo Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Armando Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHAU MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Chumo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Naranjito's Nemesio Tabor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Roderigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leopoldo Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Reynaldo Chumo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Etxekopar kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Armando Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Chumo having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Zacarias Quexal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naranjito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CHAU MZ the free kick. A collision led to Naranjito getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Zacarias Quexal hit a great ball. Reynaldo Chumo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Etxekopar went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Merexildo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Reynaldo Chumo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CHAU MZ's Eulalio Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Tabor in the 95th minute of play.
