Ezequiel Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Birjaio in the 15th minute of the match. Eleuterio Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Stephen having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Anacleto Frederik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Pastor Lluciano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Basavilbaso AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Honorio Gaufred hit a great ball. Pastor Lluciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Estebano in the 37th minute of the match. Anacleto Frederik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pastor Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Estebano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pastor Lluciano having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Clodoveo Nerio made the kick off in the second half. Honorio Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Basavilbaso AFC's zone, Anacleto Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Lluciano came out of the goal and Anacleto Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eleuterio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Faro FC booed when Basavilbaso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Carlos Montay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Lluciano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anacleto Frederik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Estebano struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Pastor Lluciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro FC. Salvador Walme kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Vicente Leheren hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Leheren came free, but Pastor Lluciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Frederik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Stephen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Nerio's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Javier Estebano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basavilbaso AFC and the Faro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 73 minutes, Godfredo Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Estebano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Godfredo Estebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Tartalo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Basavilbaso AFC's Pastor Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Frederik in the 82nd minute of play. Anacleto Frederik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
