Sebastian Johans came out of the goal and Guaberto Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Florentino Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Paio in the 24th minute of the match. Guaberto Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Sebastian Johans managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Chaiira's Mateo Txartiko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santo Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Iloga's Domingos Mirande got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Sesuldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Lluques went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guaberto Paio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Iloga's zone, Florentino Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Johans came out of the goal and Florentino Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chaiira's Guaberto Paio got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Guaberto Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 67 in the game by Eustaquio Lluques from a close distance when the talented Tobias Sesuldo managed to make a qualified save. Chaiira's players were relieved. After 68 played minutes Chaiira got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Tajo. When Elias Romano came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Iloga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Romano couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Domingos Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Mirande in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Mirande in the 77th minute of play. Florentino Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florentino Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Ramond in the 90th minute of play. Florentino Ramond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Johans having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, Guaberto Paio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Johans. Iloga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guaberto Paio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Chaiira manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Iloga to win.
