Chaiira's Tobias Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Estebano in the 30th minute of play. When Mateo Txartiko fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaiira's protests and gave Mateo Txartiko a yellow card for diving instead. Mateo Txartiko hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Faro FC's Carlos Montay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chaiira. Chaiira's Tobias Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Onbera in the 35th minute of play. Diego Raymundo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Raymundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Chaiira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Raymundo to maneuver through the defense. Godfredo Estebano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Tobias Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfredo Estebano was the one to do the kick off. Guaberto Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Stephen having to interfere. Guaberto Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ezequiel Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Florentino Ramond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Faro FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Stephen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Godfredo Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ezequiel Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Faro FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Stephen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Faro FC's Vicente Leheren got a free kick in the 98th minute. The Chaiira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Faro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
