Gilberto Montxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Joaquin Koldobika was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naranjero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugones the free kick. The long shot by Maximino Servando in the 48th minute really tested Enzo Perico's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Nel to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Siro Nel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Gilberto Montxo to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Peru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Perico was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game.
