LIBERTAD's Laureano Ferran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Montxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, C.A. LIBERTAD's Albano Peruanton got a free kick in the 18th minute. Laureano Ferran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Lugones got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Eliazar. Silvestre Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Lauaxeta in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Saturnino Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugones's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Peru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Tano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, C.A. LIBERTAD's Albano Peruanton got a free kick in the 36th minute. Modesto Hegoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 played minutes C.A. LIBERTAD got a freekick which was hit by Albano Peruanton. C.A. LIBERTAD's Silvestre Tano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Peru in the 44th minute of play. Laureano Ferran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Gilberto Montxo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Ferran to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Laureano Ferran made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Montxo. Lugones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryce Sparks in the 62nd minute of play forced Lugones's goalkeeper Gilberto Montxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lugones's Cirilo Ovando got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Lugones booed when C.A. LIBERTAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Hegoi in the 71st minute of play. Silvestre Tano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Peru in the 72nd minute. In the 75th match minute, C.A. LIBERTAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Artal to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Lugones got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Peru. In the 79th minute, Laureano Ferran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Montxo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 82 minutes into the game, Filomeno Constancio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Gilberto Montxo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 86 minutes, Albano Pirro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. LIBERTAD and the Lugones players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Bryce Sparks came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the C.A. LIBERTAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryce Sparks couldn't finish the play. Gilberto Montxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Constancio in the 91st minute of the match. With a little luck, C.A. LIBERTAD's Silvestre Tano got control of the ball when Saturnino Peru tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.A. LIBERTAD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
