After 19 minutes of play, WalterPLG's Ovidio Haimar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Loreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teo Madera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes, Siro Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WalterPLG and the Otamendi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes WalterPLG got a freekick which was hit by Siro Faro. Astor Pierres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celso Quinton. WalterPLG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 31 minutes, Joel Abar mouthed his way into the referee's book. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Madera couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Ciro Lizbeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half WalterPLG were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Teo Madera managed to get in a good position for a shot. WalterPLG's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Madera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Loreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Madera in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Loreto saved Otamendi from getting behind. Fabian Loreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Otamendi booed when WalterPLG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Higinio Mateo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
