Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Eduardo Gotzon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gilberto Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Carmelo Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Ermegildo Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Eduardo Gotzon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcelo Sendoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carmelo Mateo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SLA FC booed when Club Atlético Trentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Sadurni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Mateo having to interfere. Eduardo Gotzon's late challenge caught a SLA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Gotzon helped the player get up and apologised. Eduardo Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Eduardo Gotzon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Trentino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With his leg Carmelo Mateo managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when SLA FC's Gilberto Elorri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. SLA FC's Marcelo Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Gotzon in the 39th minute of play. Ermegildo Sugar took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Mateo. Carmelo Mateo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Sugar was the one to do the kick off. Eduardo Gotzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Sendoa having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Club Atlético Trentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Nuno to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, SLA FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Sendoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Nuno. Ermegildo Sugar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Sugar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Mateo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Carmelo Mateo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by SLA FC's Gilberto Elorri. But to his dismay, Gilberto Elorri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Eduardo Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Trentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Gotzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SLA FC's Gilberto Elorri got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Mateo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Elorri went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 88 minutes, Ermegildo Sugar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SLA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Sugar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eduardo Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Trentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Gotzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aquilino Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Mateo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Sugar in the 94th minute of the match. Carmelo Mateo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Elorri's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Elorri in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmelo Mateo saved Club Atlético Trentino from getting behind. SLA FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
