Atlético Tucuman's Filomeno Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Cordarell in the 29th minute of play. Naranjero's Joaquin Koldobika managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Justino Hurko in the 33 minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Atlético Tucuman's Cirilo Tabor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Perico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joaquin Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Frantzes in the 73rd minute of play forced Naranjero's goalkeeper Enzo Perico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Servando made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Naranjero's Joaquin Koldobika. The crowd rose to their feet as Siro Nel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filomeno Rosario. That made the score 2-1 in the 78 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Joaquin Koldobika reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filomeno Rosario. The goal made the score 2-2. Siro Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Rosario having to interfere. If Hermengildo Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Tucuman's zone, Hermengildo Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Rosario came out of the goal and Hermengildo Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
