In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Nacional de Futbol's goalkeeper Bernabe Ganix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernabe Ganix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Astudillo in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Dalmacio Laffitte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernabe Ganix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bernabe Ganix came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ubuntu's Ramon Columbo. But to his dismay, Ramon Columbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Niceto Astudillo scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Ganix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celso Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Bernabe Ganix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Astudillo in the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Jeronimo Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bernabe Ganix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Madeo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Madeo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Nacional de Futbol booed when Ubuntu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Isaias Salomon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Salomon got free with Celso Clis in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Club Nacional de Futbol players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ubuntu were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Salomon made a kick off. Isaias Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Clis having to interfere. Isaias Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Celso Clis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Nacional de Futbol's Bernabe Ganix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Nacional de Futbol from getting a goal against them. When Leo Jon fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Nacional de Futbol's protests and gave Leo Jon a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Club Nacional de Futbol:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ubuntu:s goal. 69 minutes into the game, Virgilio Escobar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubuntu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Nacional de Futbol the free kick. Club Nacional de Futbol's Bernabe Ganix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Nacional de Futbol from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Ramon Columbo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernabe Ganix, passed just outside the right post. Dalmacio Laffitte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernabe Ganix. Club Nacional de Futbol's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Niceto Astudillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes in the game, Ramon Columbo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernabe Ganix having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Club Nacional de Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Salomon to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Ramon Columbo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ramon Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Ganix having to interfere. Niceto Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Bernabe Ganix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ubuntu. Ramon Columbo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
