Rafael Orlondon hit a great ball. Hucal AFC's Antonio Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Ralondo in the 44th minute of play. Agustin Argoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Diegotxe having to make a save. 49 minutes into the match, Hucal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Argoitz came free, but Antonio Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Ralondo to make the kick off. Jacobo Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Gabrio in the 55th minute of play. Benito Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Diegotxe having to interfere.
