With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Daunte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honorio Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Daunte having to interfere. Ladislao Frichoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Nayely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Fe, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Frichoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Nayely was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Pablo Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Ladislao Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Abel Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Ubelteso in the 91st minute of the match. Cosme Benino's late challenge caught a TRANSPORTE PEPO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Benino helped the player get up and apologised. 92 minutes into the game, one of La Moroneta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Abel Daunte had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Emiliano Cibran's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Honorio Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Daunte having to interfere.
