Spectators: 7021 (Terracing: 5379, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cecilio Porfirio kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Cantera FC's Gregorio Intxixu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evelio Reyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, MONNO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Intxixu came free, but Evelio Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Rosendo Ospin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 16 minutes, Cecilio Porfirio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONNO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Porfirio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gregorio Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Valentin Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Porfirio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cecilio Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Reyes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Urdin's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. If Gregorio Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Ospin in the 54th minute of play forced Cantera FC's goalkeeper Valentin Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to MONNO FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Laureano Pio hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Jorge Walme in the 70th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Evelio Reyes's left hand side. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Gregorio Intxixu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Evelio Reyes. If Leandro Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Intxixu in the 83rd minute of play forced MONNO FC's goalkeeper Evelio Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Porfirio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Intxixu in the 93rd minute of play. Leandro Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cantera FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
