After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Cecilio Porfirio managed to get in a good position for a shot. MONNO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Porfirio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Perico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Ospin struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Israel Perico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MONNO FC. When Cecilio Porfirio came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the MONNO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Porfirio couldn't finish the play. If Fernando Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Perico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Porfirio's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Fernando Mikelats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Reyes having to interfere. Evelio Reyes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ramiro Ponc. In the 39th minute, Raul Peio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drogocop Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Cecilio Porfirio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Drogocop Futbol Club's Israel Perico. Israel Perico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Mikelats stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Ospin struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rosendo Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Drogocop Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Napier. Cecilio Porfirio might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Perico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Porfirio ran back to his position shaking his head. Cecilio Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Israel Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Carolo Honrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Evelio Reyes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cecilio Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. MONNO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
