Reconquista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Silviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sefa Yiğithan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, C. A. Central Córdoba's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Azibar came free, but Sefa Yiğithan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reconquista F.C's goalkeeper Dante Phelipe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When C. A. Leopoldo Pereyra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Phelipe having to make a save. If Leopoldo Pereyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Moučka, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, C. A. Central Córdoba's Jakub Moučka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Phelipe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Jakub Moučka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Central Córdoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Moučka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakub Moučka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Phelipe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Moučka's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Leopoldo Pereyra made a precise shot to the right of Dante Phelipe. Reconquista F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquista F.C's zone, Jakub Moučka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Phelipe came out of the goal and Jakub Moučka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes of play, C. A. Central Córdoba's Jakub Moučka made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Phelipe was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jakub Moučka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73rd play minutes Leopoldo Pereyra shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Dante Phelipe and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Bela during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, C. A. Central Córdoba's Dante Phelipe threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jakub Moučka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leopoldo Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Phelipe having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded C. A. Central Córdoba left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Reconquista F.C.
