Re-tirados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Pinocho the free kick. After 17 played minutes Re-tirados got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Iigo. In the 18th minute of the match Aristides Taurino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Mazuste skillfully saved the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Adolfo Corderun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Re-tirados's Pedro Mazuste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freddy Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Mazuste having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Pinocho's Adolfo Corderun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Mazuste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Corderun in the 39th minute of play forced Re-tirados's goalkeeper Pedro Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Eyague in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Adolfo Corderun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Mazuste was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pedro Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Firmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Re-tirados's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Firmin came free, but Pedro Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Eyague in the 68th minute of play forced Club Atletico Pinocho's goalkeeper Emiliano Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Julio Betadur hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Pinocho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
