The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Los Chanos Chocadores getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jacinto Policarpio hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Ciruja For Ever's goalkeeper Fabio Bidun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Erlantz. Melquiades Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Chanos Chocadores's zone, Cecilio Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Isias came out of the goal and Cecilio Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Placido Erlantz came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Los Chanos Chocadores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Erlantz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ciruja For Ever getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nicasio Urtun hit a great ball. Osvaldo Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Los Chanos Chocadores booed when Ciruja For Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Marcelo Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Fortun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Cecilio Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Beliran was the one to do the kick off. Cecilio Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Isias having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Los Chanos Chocadores's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Fortun came free, but Marcelo Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Osvaldo Fortun came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ciruja For Ever fans jumped to their feet. In the 59th minute, Ciruja For Ever's Cecilio Domingues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Isias. Cecilio Domingues took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Isias. Marcelo Isias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 82 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Fortun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Isias. Osvaldo Fortun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Cecilio Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marcelo Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Policarpio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Chanos Chocadores's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo Marques was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciruja For Ever's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ciruja For Ever's Anselmo Marques to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelo Isias despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ciruja For Ever's attentive Abel Totakoxe managed to snatch the ball when Placido Erlantz made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. Ciruja For Ever's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
