Dario Karlo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 21 minutes, Federico Bidari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magdalena and the Gatorei players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Magdalena getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Federico Bidari hit a great ball. If Tiburcio Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Uzuri in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Uzuri in the 32nd minute of play forced Magdalena's goalkeeper Leonides Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Seme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Dario Karlo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Evelio Joachim managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, Gatorei's Gerardo Orkatz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Leonides Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Ioritz in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evelio Joachim to strike the kick off in the second half. Magdalena were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Gatorei's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arturo Joachim took the corner. Evelio Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Dayam hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gatorei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magdalena the free kick. Evelio Joachim's late challenge caught a Gatorei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Joachim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute Silvestre Uzuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Valentin Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Dayam during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Gatorei got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Dayam. Gatorei's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
