The tension between the Magdalena and the Oil Pollution FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Benjamin Erruki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Oil Pollution FC's Rene Enaut broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Oil Pollution FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Bidari came free, but Vicente Garzón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Leonides Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Ondino during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vicente Garzón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Valentin Seme notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Oil Pollution FC's Vicente Garzón. Vicente Garzón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Joachim to make the kick off. The supporters of Oil Pollution FC booed when Magdalena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Seme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Oil Pollution FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Joachim came free, but Vicente Garzón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Miguel Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Garzón stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Seme's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Vicente Garzón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Seme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Valentin Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Seme scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Garzón, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 82 minutes, Miguel Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oil Pollution FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Elizardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evelio Joachim scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Garzón, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Evelio Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Garzón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Cebo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Oil Pollution FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Magdalena had won, even though Oil Pollution FC had held more of the ball.
