It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 21st minute, but Joel Olentzaro got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Corrales hanging dry this time. 22 minutes into the match, Guillermo Beliran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Olentzaro, 1-0. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corrales's goalkeeper Joel Olentzaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Placido Erlantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adan Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Abaurre hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Adan Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Corrales's Joel Olentzaro got control of the ball when Placido Erlantz tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Beliran in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Olentzaro saved Corrales from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Beliran to strike the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Cesar Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Francesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Segundo Leizarraga fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corrales's protests and gave Segundo Leizarraga a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Corrales got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Leizarraga. Melquiades Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Joel Olentzaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Chanos Chocadores. Placido Erlantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Olentzaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Cesar Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Corrales's zone, Placido Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Olentzaro came out of the goal and Placido Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Beliran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Olentzaro was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Adan Montrel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Marcelo Isias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guillermo Beliran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joel Olentzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Jacinto Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Chanos Chocadores's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
