The supporters of Alanices booed when Club Atlético Lanús was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Loreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Misael took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elmar van de Meerakker. Club Atlético Lanús's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Sixto Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Club Atlético Lanús fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Godoy couldn't finish the play. Petruț Spirache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Emiliano Ugutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Loreto in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Bazkoare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lanús's Octavio Gabon got a free kick in the 54th minute. Emiliano Ugutz was a little too slow when Petruț Spirache got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-7. 63 minutes into the match, Alanices's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Spirache came free, but Emiliano Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Ugutz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. Elmar van de Meerakker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Bazkoare in the 70th minute of play. Elmar van de Meerakker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Octavio Gabon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Lanús's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Gabon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Ugutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Alanices getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Joaquin Florian hit a great ball. Petruț Spirache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Lain succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 90th playminute. Petruț Spirache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ugutz having to interfere. Emiliano Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petruț Spirache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Lanús played a much better game than Alanices and deserved their victory. The Alanices players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
