Spectators: 6658 (Terracing: 5002, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugenio Errapel started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Alanices's goalkeeper Emiliano Ugutz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeo Atarratze. Godofredo Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Romeo Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Atarratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Emiliano Ugutz made a huge save. Tadeo Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arctic Monkeys! Tadeo Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ugutz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alanices's Alejo Frantzes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Emiliano Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arctic Monkeys's Narciso Gasteiz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emiliano Ugutz but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Fernan Bazkoare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Atarrabi was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Bazkoare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernan Bazkoare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Atarrabi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernan Bazkoare in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Atarrabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ugutz having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Alanices's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Atarratze came free, but Emiliano Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Martin Sidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arctic Monkeys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alanices the free kick. After 64 played minutes Arctic Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Martin Sidro. In the 65thth minute of the game Fernan Bazkoare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arctic Monkeys's Romeo Atarrabi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Alanices getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fabio Victoro hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Alanices got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Frantzes. Alanices's Godofredo Muc got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Fernan Bazkoare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Alanices supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alanices would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
