Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aquiles Diaz took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Gaudencio Pio fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patriotas Argentinos's protests and gave Gaudencio Pio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute Elvio Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Lesardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Lesardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Evelio Loco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guampachata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Loco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Higinio Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Diaz struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Mateo Rodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guampachata. Mateo Rodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Loco in the 32nd minute. Urbano Haimar charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Haimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Guampachata got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Haimar. Segundo Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Luke in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Guampachata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Haimar to maneuver through the defense. If Gaudencio Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guampachata getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Evelio Loco hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

During the 52nd minute of the match Higinio Guillelmo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Higinio Guillelmo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 53rd match minute, Patriotas Argentinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Guillelmo to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Rodas having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Gaudencio Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elvio Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaudencio Pio got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 80th minute of the match Ernesto Iratzeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Rodas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Evelio Loco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guampachata's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Loco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Rodas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Patriotas Argentinos's zone, Jorge Barrionuevo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Rodas came out of the goal and Jorge Barrionuevo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guampachata's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
