When Gaudencio Pio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Patriotas Argentinos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Pio couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaudencio Pio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Modesto Santio. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Elvio Luke in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Modesto Santio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Horacio Txerran scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Rodas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filiberto Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Txerran to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 76th minute, Ermegildo Ado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filiberto Omero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patriotas Argentinos's goalkeeper Mateo Rodas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Patriotas Argentinos's Gaudencio Pio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Santio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Modesto Santio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Illart in the 92nd minute of play. Elvio Luke scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Santio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patriotas Argentinos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
