When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Lizardi made a kick off. Estudiantes de La Plata's Oséas Vaz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eleuterio Lauro in the 54 minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Herminio Macerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Isaias Oriche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Macerio took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Cisco. Domingo Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Vasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th match minute, Estudiantes de La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Macerio to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Estudiantes de La Plata were the better team. Estudiantes de La Plata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
