Cesar Domenec's late challenge caught a MARVEL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Domenec helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MARVEL booed when CFTC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Aristides Gonchan in the 7th minute really tested Atilano Mateo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Atilano Mateo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Oriche in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Isaias Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARVEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Oriche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Mateo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Herminio Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Eduardo Cordeal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Atilano Mateo, 1-0. Domingo Cisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Mattin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CFTC's Cesar Domenec got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Cesar Domenec off the ground. Jeronimo Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Atilano Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Mateo was a little too slow when Eduardo Cordeal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Isaias Oriche fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Isaias Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARVEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Oriche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Mateo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Isaias Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Herminio Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Brais hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Aristides Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARVEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Gonchan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Mateo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, MARVEL's Jeronimo Telmo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Herminio Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Domingo Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Mattin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. MARVEL's Domingo Cisco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save MARVEL from getting a goal against them. Isaias Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Mateo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MARVEL's zone, Herminio Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Cisco came out of the goal and Herminio Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Bertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Cisco having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MARVEL fans cheered their team off the field, for while CFTC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
