Eloy Bero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Amador Jax made a huge save. Raul Haritz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabricio Presebal. PSI 97's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the PSI 97 defense, Leonel Pagomari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Presebal. The PSI 97 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Presebal should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Geronimo Nisio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amador Jax. The goal made the score 1-1. PSI 97's Eloy Bero got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Eloy Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSI 97's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Bero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geronimo Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PSI 97's Geronimo Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Leonel Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Presebal having to interfere. When Atletico de Rafaela's Fulgencio Mazuste in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Eloy Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSI 97's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Bero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Nisio in the 90th minute of the match. Fulgencio Mazuste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Fabricio Presebal made a huge save.
